El libro en México, 1900-1950

Abstract

The study of the publishing in Mexico during the first half of the twentieth century, has been recently tackled in few articles and some books, however authors of considerable stature as Gabriel Zaid, Ernesto de la Torre Villar, José G . Moreno de Alba et al. Given this, the editorial production work deals with three basic periods: background and first decade of the twentieth century, the editorial crisis during the Mexican Revolution and the post-revolution, to finally get to grips with the resurgence of book pro duction between 1930 and 1950.
